Ivar grew up in Iceland as a punk rock kid, his first artist name was "Kid Vicious". As he matured he gradually transformed into a sophisticated electronic musician with interludes into hip hop, IDM, electro, techno and many other genres.
When Ivar was in his teens he moved to New York City where he absorbed sounds, sights and culture like a sponge. His music takes something from all genres to deliver a unique sound. While in New York he performed and collaborated with a variety of world known artists such as Felix da House Cat and Swayzak.
His status in his homecountry is legendary, at one time Ivar was half of the infamous and wildly popular duo Dr. Mister and Mr. Handsome. He is now on his own as Dr. Mister.
Ivar’s commercial music credits include work for K-Mart, BBC and Kenneth Cole.
