Together Dave Warrin and Hólmar Filipsson are Everything Speaks. Apart they are a lot of different things.
Dave is a classically trained pianist turned electronic music whiz. He is a prolific songwriter and producer and has as such done groundbreaking work with various artists, most notably Naked Music, Slide Five, Julius Papp, King Britt, and Mood II Swing. His work has been licensed by everyone and their aunt around the world, from Virgin to MTV to HBO to Hed Kandi and beyond. He has also composed music for award-winning feature films.
In his youth Hólmar threw some of the first rave parties in the world’s northernmost capital, Reykjavík, Iceland. He also started the "Free James Brown" ambient media campaign in Reykjavík. After his move to New York in the mid Nineties he’s been a world-wide-working DJ, re-mixer, producer and record label mogul. He is also a member of at least one band with an x-rated name, find out more. His re-mix credits include Gus Gus, Anti-Pop and Asia Argento.
Together as Everything Speaks, Hólmar and Dave compose original music for global advertising campaigns amongst other things.
